In October of 2019, I was designing Hatfield's Hideout and would spend hours on site
listening to machines hitting the trails. Over time I began to hear people hitting trees,
hearing them asking for an off road towing service, as well as other business owners
asking for the same service. Deciding to take a break from the campground design
and researching off road wreckers. I started by searching online to see what is
already available, how many of them are out there, and how well they work.
Surprisingly, I could only find 3 nationwide.
After finding so few options nation wide it was my goal to design and have the first
fully functional off road wrecker and recovery machine build. After careful research I
found the Can Am Defender 6x6. This ended up being the base of our build. At this
point I have found the machine to do the work, however the most important part is
missing. The person to bring this idea to life. Fast forward to December of 2019. I set
out to find the right person to build the dirty hooker. Beginning close to home I went to
3 people in KY, 1 In VA, and 3 In Tennessee before having the right person fall into
my life through a random referral. Thus became the birth of the of the Dirty Hooker.

The Dirty Hooker can handle all types of UTV Recovery. Side by side recovery can be difficult because of the size and weight of the SxS’s. We use a specially modified Can Am Defender 6x6 that not only has a rear winch but a hydraulic lift as well. This allows use to lift damaged areas of a vehicle off the ground before towing to minimize the chance of further damage to your UTV. ATV Recovery is often attempted by riding partners. Sometimes you can recover an atv that way, but often more damage is done in the recovery attempt than what caused the need for a recovery. With the price of parts these days and often the amount of time it takes to even get parts you are generally better off having your atv professionally recovered.Motorcycle Recovery
Motorcycle Recovery can be a tedius if not impossible process if you try to do it yourself. They don’t tend to tow in a straight line or stand up by themselves.
